Friendliness in Theodore was assessed using structured behavioral observations and owner-reported interaction logs. Baseline data were gathered over two weeks prior to wearing the crystal collar, focusing on frequency and duration of affiliative behaviors such as approach to humans, rubbing, purring, and willingness to be handled. A standardized feline social interaction scale was applied, rating behaviors on a 0–5 scale for approachability, tolerance of touch, and engagement in play. Following introduction of the crystal, identical measurements were repeated for four weeks. Owners documented daily counts of voluntary approaches and time spent in close contact. Comparative analysis revealed a reduction in avoidance behaviors, increased frequency of owner-initiated contact being tolerated, and longer durations of proximity seeking. The aggregate scores indicated that friendliness behaviors were measurably more consistent and frequent during the observation period with the crystal, suggesting a lessening of prior social withdrawal.
